Mike,
After reviewing /var/log/cups/error_log (kudos Mike, I didn't even think
of that) it says the following:
I [04/Dec/2005:00:39:45 -0500] Listening to 0:631
I [04/Dec/2005:00:39:45 -0500] Loaded configuration file
"/etc/cups/cupsd.conf"
I [04/Dec/2005:00:39:45 -0500] Configured for up to 100 clients.
I [04/Dec/2005:00:39:45 -0500] Allowing up to 100 client connections per
host.
I [04/Dec/2005:00:39:45 -0500] Full reload is required.
I [04/Dec/2005:00:39:46 -0500] LoadPPDs: Read "/etc/cups/ppds.dat", 4104
PPDs...
I [04/Dec/2005:00:39:47 -0500] LoadPPDs: No new or changed PPDs...
I [04/Dec/2005:00:39:47 -0500] Full reload complete.
Everything looks fine and when I go to the terminal shell and type lpr a
CUPS test page prints out on both printers I have hooked up to my Linux
box. By the way, I am running Ubuntu 5.10. Any other suggestions Mike,
anyone?
