Hi Alan,
There is a section in the K12LTSP wiki that shows how to disable desktop
managers. Also, there are some k12ltsp configs in /etc/sysconfig you can
edit to purge processes and allow/disable gnome/nautalis features. Have you
tried these? This is where I'ld start.

Hi list
Somehow I have managed to slow down a server's performance by having
both Gnome and IceWM running at the same time, and forcing the students to
log off twice, etc.
I need some direction in how to completely eliminate IceWM from coming
up and getting in the way of every user... At one point I remember going to
/etc/X11/dgm/gdm.conf and changing the default, but I've since restored the
original value...
Help!
