Hey barry, can you answer a couple of questions?
1) what version of k12ltsp are you using?
2) Are the server and clients the same architecture?
(Pentiums, AMDs, ou mix 64bit w/ x86) If you can, please specify.
3) Is it a giga network?
4)Thanks.

Hello List,
Just thought Id throw this out. Last week i have gotten
Kphone /SIPhone
to work on 4 terminals. I know this isnt really K-12
"centric", but i
was just wanting to see if it would ever work:)
Haven't had much time to
hammer it, to see what chokes on it, but i did keep
good connections, to
each terminal & voice quality was very much the same
as a "hardphone". I
set it up through asterisk. It 's very rough as
far as setup and getting
audio to come through but if i get it slicked up,
ill see if anyone is
interested in this sort of setup.
Maybe it is
overkill for the use of what K12LTSP & thin client
technology is to
represent? The rpms that were built are for FC4 but
would probably work
backwards to a certain degree. I'm guessing if
Kphone will work if someone
had IP phones, with a little thrashing ,
they will eventually work as well.
Possibly someone already has some
flavor of siphone working? i havent read
anything on this.
Have a good week all K12LTSP'ers.
Barry
