cliebow_: The fuse group isn't necessary if, when you installed fuse, the
fuse dev is 666. On most distros, they make the udev rules make the fuse
dev 660, and then setgid the fusermount bin to fuse.
<sbalneav> If you installed fuse from source, OR fix your udev rules on
your distro to 666 /dev/fuse, then you can dispense with the fuse group.

<sbalneav> If in your os's /etc/udev.d/...permissions.rules file, you set
something like:
<sbalneav> KERNEL=="fuse", MODE="0666"
<sbalneav> That would fix it.
