Well I followd Brad's advice and upgraded to KDE version 3.5.2 and
now it
boots a client. The ltspcfg utility still picks up XCMCP as not

but when I manually configure it shows as being enabled and
running. So I
guess it is working now.
However, it is dog slow. I mean like a 2 legged dog with one
eye. Exact same
hardware with the FC2 K12LTSP version was smokin. My term150's
booted in
about 20 seconds, now boot time is about 2 minutes. Any ideas on
where to
start? Top shows CPU usage steadily at less than 1%. I did
notice that when
the X config file is being built a message about limiting ram for
X to 97MB.
I never noticed that before (Maybe staring at it for 2 minutes
makes the
unoticed noticable). Anyhow could this be an indication of a
problem?
