[K12OSN] Squid problem on 64bit Centos 5

Dear Folks,
	I'm trying to use an Athlon 64 bit box for a squidguard. I have
loaded K125EL on it, configured the squidguard as per k12 site instuctions
and ... the redirected traffic doesn't get the users to -most- sites. It
is the same with just squid running, The setup is essentially the same
as on my old, old squidguard box. Any suggestions for a quick look-see?
