Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I manage to do all the complicated stuff fine
however when it comes to recompressing the modules.cgz file i managed to
stuff up the directory structure, all works now!

Try compiling it against the 6.2-BOOT kernel (it should be on your disc).
That is the kernel that everything in the install is compiled against.
