i'm sure it doesn't take much beyond

1) create the appropriate kickstart file, ks.cfg
2) copy this file to the appropriate boot floppy image (boot.img?)
3) when you create the custom CD 1, use the mkisofs option

  -b "name of custom boot floppy image"

  to add that floppy image as the bootable image to the CD.

p.s.  i vaguely recall reading somewhere that this recipe now
supports 2.88M floppy images.  what would i read to confirm this?
