RE: Exception error with kickstart and 8.0

Hi,

Thanks for answering folks.....so here is what Alt-F3 is showing:

loading....blah blah blah
inserted /temp/parport.o
blah blah blah
....stuff I expect to see...
* anaconda floppy device fd0                   -no problem here
* Couldn't lookup monitor type: NECLCD1700v    -still no problem
* Using /mnt/source/.Redhat/base/comps.xml
* WARNING: not all packages in hdlist had order tag    - is this the problem?

then it ends....and on the fisrt console I am still getting the following 
message:

python2.2:rpmio_internal.h:235: fdGetFp: Assertion `fd && fd-> magic == 
0x04463138' failed. 
install exited abnormally
sending termination signals...done

blah blah blah


Does anyone have an idea what's going on here? Thanks a bunch,
