multicast kickstart

Has there been any thought on integrating kickstart over a multicast
network channel?  I was wondering if people had looked into udpcast or netcast.
I've seen udpcast easily integrated into system imager, and before taking
on a project for kickstart, I wanted to see if there was already work being
done on this in the community ....
