I haev a question about the comps file with making a new cd and using this with kickstart. This is my first venture into this but I would really like to get this working for our company in that we are still stuck on
using a base install of 6.2 for our servers. I need a solution for our new isntallation process so I researched how to do this for the most part. I have ripped all 3 disks from 7.3 and removed all the packages in
which I do not need to get 3 disks into one. I am at the point in which I want to generate the new list with anaconda. What I want to know is how to manipulate the comps file to reflect what will be installed on the
server. Is this a matter of just editing the file and calling it a day? I appreciate any help with this.
