comps.xml + package

Can I install in my ks.cfg a package that is not in
the comps.xml list ? for example:
@ Base
perl-URI
I need this package but is not in the comps.xml ...
and do I need to tell the package that is part of the
@ Base or just simple put:
perl-URI
