  Okay, I modified netcf to incorporate the patch below to avoid the
crash, but I still get a ton of regression tests failures on F-11 +
0.1.3 + your 3 patches when running make check as non-root.
  If I checkout master without your patches in the same environment
make check passes fine.

   So I'm postponing commiting your patches until we have an additional
patch fixing the regressions I see,
