You may want to consolidate all the v1-v10 comments into one 
comprehensive notice (with less of the back and forth) before pushing 
(and if you leave Dave's name on there, there's two l's in Allan ;-) 
(also he's commented that almost all of the code is now from you ;-)

The bh patch is being looked at by someone else. Standby for their 
response...
