ack, bump version and go ahead. The only project I know using libvirt-qpid (and old matahari btw) was ovirt-server and that one is currently out of shape anyway (due to rails changes). Anyone reviving it will need to adapt to both new matahari host agent and libvirt-qpid schemas.
