Can you see if the problem happens with a copy of just a single small file
from that set?  If so, can you try copying just that single file after doing:

	echo 65535 >/sys/module/fscache/parameters/debug
	echo 255 >/sys/module/cachefiles/parameters/debug

and capturing the messages dumped into dmesg?
