Thank you for the response Francisco (or Francisco Javier? ^_^),

no actually each switch is configured with a single zone including all of the WWNs of HBAs and storage array ports, i'm going to zone it right now if you think that this is advisable.

But won't the node "sending the reset" affect the array ports (which obviously MUST be in the same zone)?

Thank you again now at least I have something to investigate.
