Hi Heinz,

I just wanted to say that I'm still here using the LVM-2.2.11 patch on
kernel 2.2.13 without problems. Occasionally I resize an lv and filesystem
just for fun! Great feature! Thanks again for what has proven itself to be
some pretty solid code!

Regarding getting your LVM into the stock kernel. I think we should try to
keep a _little_ pressure on Linus just to let him know we are here (and
waiting). I say this because I remember Linus saying that he does tend to
give more attention to the folks who make the most noise (eg. the Apache
folks). I am not saying we should pester him, just don't let him forget
about us. I sent him a few emails back when the petition was being started
and I realize that they most likely went unnoticed. I do not have any great
ideas about how this should be done, other than you keep sending him
patches to the latest dev kernel until he replies one way or the other.

By the way, what 2.3 kernel was the patch that you have sent him against?
And are you going to make that patch available on your site?
