Hello,
I have my kernel configured and and the lvm tools installed for 0.7.
Questions:
1. do I set the partition id using fdisk? If so, will this damage anything
ie. make it hard to boot in the normal fashion?
2. What goes in the /etc/lvmtab file ?
3. Will the creation/allocation of logical volumes be non-destructive to
the data during conversion?
4. If I boot a kernel without lvm will I still have the same access to
data as I had before?
Thanks. I have used LVM in AIX for awhile but I wanted to clear up a few
things in my understanding.
