[linux-lvm] VGDA format

hi!
  Im working on LVM.. i want to know detailed
information about he VGDA. I mean how does LVM keep
the track of VGDA and where it is stored on PVs ..
or is there any documentation on the VGDA avaialble..
if its there, please forward it to me..
