I may be rehashing an already-discussed issue and if so, I apologize.
I saw mention in passing in one of the recent messages regarding LVM
0.8 being unstable with reiserfs during resizes, can someone explain
exactly what happens and what causes the failure? I am currently
running K-2.2.18 with LVM 0.8i (IOP ver 5) and reiserfs 3.5.29. I
saw no problems doing an online expansion but it was not all that
large, perhaps a few MB at most. Should I consider an LVM upgrade to
0.8.1?
Thanks,
Scott Denton
