[linux-lvm] Re: any document on DM & LVM2?

I could not find any documents(design or review doc) on device mapper
and LVM2.

Really I want to know the differences( or characteristics or pros & cons)
between LVM and LVM2, and DM.

Please provide me any information I could get any help from.
