[linux-lvm] hd/lvm crash

hi,

i hope this isn't completely off-topic.
my friends who've had similiar problems told me you might be able to
help me:
i've been using a big reiserfs on an lvm for quite some time now,
thanks to big blue i now don't anymore.
one of my hd's in the lvm is dead and i wanna ask you if there's
something i can do to restore at least some of the data that's on the
other disks.
the dead hd is /dev/hdb1 and the metadata (vg00.conf) can be found at
