[linux-lvm] Whole Disk Usage with LVM in what multiples?

I am using entire disks.  
147GB U320 disks 8 MB Cache

I want to use 6 disks rather than 4.

Is there a limit it seems to be

4 or 8 whole disks...

I need to do 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6... is this
possible?
