[linux-lvm] Duplicate VGs and pLinux

Heinz,
        Here is what I have for  getting single and multiple volume Volume 
Group(LVM) online (to the same host where the originals are) and verified 
after a FlashCopy. Seems a tool could be constructed and made available 
with the LVM package to facilitate this sort of thing. The attached is by 
no means a solution but an experiment to show feasability.
        It is a matter of fixing the PV_UUID and realizing that the 
PV_UUID exists at three places in the MetaData. Also there is a list of 
UUIDs for the other volumes when a multiple volume VG is involved. Also 
required is renaming the original while the duplicate is made 
available/renamed and then renaming the original back. 
        I have attached two docs that list what I did for each situation.
