Please Help,

I have had a boot lockup problem for some time now.
I thought it was the "VFS lock" issue but it is not.
Can someone look at the following excerp and see if they
know what is happening??

System configuration is:
Supermicro X5DP8 with Dual 2.8 GHz XEONs
2GB RAM (1024MB allocated to system)
Running Redhat 9.0 Stock kernel
14 x 147Gigabyte Harddisks setup for RAID 0 with
LVM.

Symptoms:
1. This boot lockup only occurs once in a while.
But when it does it requires someone to push the
reset button on the front of the unit. This
   really hinders remote operation.
2. The "VFS: Disk quotas vdquot_6.5.1" lockup only
occurs conincident with a "boot-pause" and the
   immediately after on of the
   "Booting processor 1/1 eip 2000"
lines. I have tried turning off hyperthreading
   and it does not help.
If you notice a pause after the
   "Booting processor 1/1 eip 2000"
line then the system will difinitely lockup
   when the forllowing line appears.
   "VFS: Disk quotas vdquot_6.5.1"
