There is a section describing how to remove and old disk from LVM at http://tldp.org/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO/removeadisk.html but nothing is said about reducing LV before this is done. Must a LV be reduced using e2fsadm before any attempt to remove a PV is made in order to prevent data loss ? --------- Perplexer
