Cannot boot nahant

Hi,
I have an older system that fails when trying to boot
nahant beta 1 or beta 2 from cdrom ("boot fails").
This seems like a bug to me because:
1) The cdroms in question can be used to boot and
install nahant on other x86 systems.
2) The system in question can boot from cdrom using other
versions of redhat (7.3, 8.0, 9.0, ws 3.1) and other
distro's (mandrake 10, debian stable woody 2.6.7-1-386).
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
- jerry hopkins
