Hi
I am of the opinion that Udev should have persistent
naming enabled by default for all classes of devices
(ie)the device names should not change depending on
the order that they were connected.
Asking users to write their own rules would lead to
all kinds of non standard names which doesnt seem like
a good idea to me. Is there any reasons why it isnt
supported by default?
I heard that various other unix like operating systems
already support this
