I doubt PAE is the main part of the problem, but 6% isn't negligible in my
book.
I wonder why they don't offer PAE and non-PAE SMP kernels. What is the
percentage of SMP boxes (including hyperthreading CPUs) that have more than
4GB RAM? Probably well under 10%?
