Good to know - but I was really referring to how to get the df command
to reference /dev/vg00 names that UDEV creates as soft links instead of
the "mapper" names.

'df -P' (use POSIX output format) put your output on one line. While
it's less readable (columns don't always line up), it works great for
scripting.
