No, not unless it gets enabled without me having to do anything.

I also noticed, just now before I rebooted, an APIC error 00(40).   
Booting with noapic just makes the machine hang; or at least nothing 
happens for quite a long time.   Booting "nolapic" gives me a very slow 
boot with "hdc: lost interrupt" a couple of times before I gave up.
