I've got a strange one.....
I've basically done a fresh install of RHELv4-U1. The /home directory
is on its own partition and was not touch from its original state. The
previous version of the OS was RHELv3-U5.
Everything seems OK...except when I bring up the KDE Control Center (for
one user) then go to "Sound & Multimedia" --> "System Notifications"
and in the "Actions" "Play a sound"....and I browse for sounds all I see
are .ogg files in /usr/share/sounds. The .wav files are there....they
just don't show.
I can use the full path to the file and use the sound OK.
New users can see the .wav files.
Any clue as to how/why those files are getting filtered?
Thanks,
Ed
