I am a firm believer that you go with RHEL support through the vendor
you purchased the hardware from if possible.
By that I mean, if you are on dells, get the support through Dell. If
from HP, then get it from hp. I've
been dissatisfied with going to RedHat directly with issues, as they
don't seem as responsive as my other vendors.
You still get RHN and still have to activate the subscriptions, but
first call goes to third party. We have had
more success with that. However, whenever a bug has been found, it
still takes a good bit of time to get it
through and fixed.
