Hello Everybody,
I'm trying to setup ldap authentication following the chapter in the
RHEL 4 reference guide. I've setup slapd.conf and used the padl
migration scripts to dump /etc/passwd and kin into ldif format.
viewing the passwd.ldif file I dumped, I can see all the right info is
there, specifically UID, home dir and password hash. after slapadd-ing
-l passwd.ldif and then slapcat-ting the result, everything matches
except for the userPassword field. Instead of matching the users hash,
the userPassword field is the same string for all users. What have I
done wrong and how can I fix it? Any clues/ further information that I
can provide?
yaiga,
JL
