Hello. I have an Optiplex GX280 with an on-board Intel video chipset
and both kinds of connectors. X works fine with VGA. However, there
are problems with DVI connector. When I run redhat-config-xfree86
while the display is connected through the DVI port, the screen simply
goes blank. I did make sure to set a resolution that the display can
understand with --set-resolution before running it. Could this be
happening because XFree86 is trying to send the signal to the VGA port
anyways? Is there a way to select which port should be used?
