pop3 server on RHEL ES 4

I am just now getting around to installing a pop3 server on a RHEL ES 
4 box.  I went to my rhn account and found that "imap" is not for 
RHEL ES 4 now.  Instead it looks like cyrus-imapd is what I would 
have to install.  Well, I installed it and get messages saying the 
password is incorrect for the mailbox account.  The password is NOT 
incorrect and I can log into it with mutt directly on the 
server.  Anybody have any suggestions as to how I am suppose to setup 
an POP3 server now on RHEL ES 4?  Is cyrus-imapd what I am suppose to be using?
