Is there a reasonably straightforward way to install PHP5 alongside
the PHP in RHEL4? Is there an RPM someplace?
I've successfully taken the SRPM from Fedora Core 4 for PHP5 and
compiled it on RHEL4. This however will replace, not co-exist with
PHP4. To get PHP4 and PHP5 at the same time would take renaming the
packages from php-x.xxxx to php4-xxxxx and php5-xxxxxx. Then making
sure each installs it's stuff in it's own directories and that one takes
.php files, while the other takes .php5 or whatever. Search the net for
some clues.
Presumably one could have one vhost serving .php as php4, another as php5.
