Re: RHEL 3->4: Upgrade or Fresh Install?

No significant problems were noted when upgrading a Dell 2650 w/RHEL3 to
RHEL4. However, getting SELInux installed was a bit tricky. There is
short procedure on the "Fedora Core 3 SELinux FAQ" That I followed after
using up2date to install selinux-policy-targeted and selinux-policy-
targeted-sources. Which is:

cd /etc/selinux/targeted/src/policy
make
make relabel

The other problem was with the laus rpm. It appears that it was replaced
with audit. So I had to remove laus and then used up2date to install the
audit rpm. The laus-libs appears to have been deprecated as well.

The following rpm's were not updated as well:

at-3.1.8-60_EL3
bind-9.2.4-5_EL3
bind-libs-9.2.4-5_EL3
bind-utils-9.2.4-5_EL3
caching-nameserver-7.3-3_EL3
redhat-config-proc-0.23-0.EL3.1

I'm still looking into whether or not these present a problem.
