Never mind, I found out what I was needing at this website
(http://www.linuxmafia.com/faq/Mail/procmail-maildir.html) and in the
man page for procmailrc. I created /etc/procmailrc with the following
contents:
DEFAULT=/var/mail/$LOGNAME/Maildir/
I restarted Sendmail and Dovecot for good measure and my test message
found it's way to the right place. Thank you for your assistance!
