yeah don't use the cisco stuff.
The cisco vpn client cannot deal with cards that do zero copy. That is a
severe bug in the cisco vpn client that can even lead to datacorruption;
cisco knows about this for a long time but apparently still hasn't fixed
the bug.

Alternatives are the VPNC client (google for it) or the in kernel IPSEC
layer (which can be made to work with Cisco concentrators, I use it
regularly to connect to the RH VPN)
