Internet Access after OpenVPN Authentication?

If I use OpenVPN as an Authentication for the client....upon Authentication 
does the client now has capable to do Internet Access?

Here is a simple diagram:

[WinXP Client]

WinXP uses OpenVPN for Authentication utilizing wireless thru the Router via 
Gateway.  After the authentication does the Client (WinXP) capable of 
Internet Access?
