Hello,
I was wondering if RHEL 4 includes something similar to ifplugd
(http://0pointer.de/lennart/projects/ifplugd/) to allow for multiple
interfaces to be online (wired and wireless) and also set the wireless
metric higher (similar to
http://0pointer.de/lennart/projects/ifmetric/).
I also wish the NetworkManager utility allowed for scripts to be run
before and after DHCP renewal. This would allow me to insert things
like LEAP authentication (or 802.1x supplicant).
On RHEL 3, we developed in-house tools to manage wireless in our
enterprise. I'd like to use tools included in RHEL 4, but it appears
they're still not ready for non-WEP environments.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
