Sam,

Chris Kloiber's mkdvdiso.sh utility works fine, but to make a RHEL4 DVD
image it must run under RHEL4.

I believe "can't find hwdata" error actually indicates that anaconda
can't locate any of the RPM files (not just hwdata, which I think is the
first one installed).

Is an NFS install from ISOs on a second system an option for you?
