The RPM that came with RedHat 7.1 and even Fedora Core 3 is relatively
old (version 1.x). Netatalk 2.0 has been released just recently and it
includes many improvements. I'd just build it from source or try
rebuilding the rawhide rpm (if it exists). However, I am afraid, you
with or without rpm, you still can't use it without appletalk support
in the kernel which is a much bigger problem than the lack of netatalk
package in RHEL.
