How to configure: FCA 2214 HBA cards on HP DL380 cluster solution

Hello Everyone,

I will be building an Oracle 10G RAC cluster next week on RHAS. The nodes are
DL380's and the SAN will be an MSA1000. Each node will have an FCA 2214 HBA
card.

I configured an HBA card to work with a SAN before (it's been on my top 10 list
for some time) and I would like to make sure that I am covering everything.

I have downloaded the HP rpm package for the 2.6 kernel drivers already. What I
need to know is what I need to configure the card both for the system as well as
the fabric so the device can communicate.

How should I expect to see the device show up (eg /dev/sda)

In addition what is the best method to utilize the disk as far as partitioning
or creating a logical volume out of it. Also I'm not sure but the database could
be using a 'raw' file system. Can anyone recommend anything in regards to this?
