Not on Linux. The binding is typically done the other way - on the SAN
controller, it presents specific volumes to certain WWNs. The host can
then just do a bus scan to find the luns.

Yes, it's modprobe.conf on RHEL 4. I think this is the 3rd name for
this file in Red Hat releases (conf.modules, modules.conf, and now
modprobe.conf).

I had suggested that you install the driver and fiber utilities packages
from HP for connecting to the MSA1000. This package will write the
entries to modprobe.conf for you (at least it does to modules.conf on
RHEL 3).
