Yep we've been tracking that and working with IBM on the fix.  Don't have
anything to share at this point.  The workaround listed in the bug doesn't
work for me (and from what we've heard, won't work.)  My personal
workaround of installing either the Sun or BEA java stuff probably ranks in
the "20 lb. sledgehammer" category :-)

Why hasn't this information been added to the bugzilla entry? Instead both bz entries have nothing from RedHat.

Why wasn't java-plugin tested with firefox before U2 was rolled out?

Between this and spell check not working in OOo has made our rollout of U2 very painful. It is really my fault for not QAing this before letting up2date install it. Just frustrating to see bz entries not get replies from RH.
