Re: Build kernel 2.6.13.4

I made a rebuild of kernel-2.6.13-1.1532_FC4.src.rpm.
After booting this kernel, no network interfaces were working, and iptables didn't start,

I will try the FC5 kernel, but I sceptic about it.

I need to run openswan 2.4.x on this machine and therefore I need to run a recent kernel.
2.6.9-22.EL crashed with openswan (klips).

Hi,

I'm trying to build a rpm for kernel 2.6.13.4 with the spec file from the last FC2 kernel on a RHES4 kernel 2.6.9-22.EL.
I commented out all patches in the spec file.

How can I fix this?
Does anybody have a spec file for a newer kernel?

Why not download the RPM from RawHide / Fedora Development? Or take the
SRPM from RawHide and use the kernel sources you prefer with their spec
file.

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/development/SRPMS/kernel-2.6.13-1.1629_FC5.src.rpm

Note, according to the fedora-devel build report, this SRPM actually
contains the 2.6.14 rc4 kernel.
