When you get the crash? Do you get a stack dump? If so can you send the entire panic?
Also, what is your setup?

Basically, I am seeing kernel crashes when attempting to backup my
software RAID5 array (LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c1030) using dump and
writing to a NFS share. I don't have space locally to attempt a backup
sans NFS. This crash has happened everytime I have tried it after a few
hours into the dump process. The machine is new, so I never ran
with kernels prior to RHEL4U2.
